Discover the wonder and magic of Central Oregon. This weeklong field-based course focuses on the region’s descriptive and interpretive geology in the context of Plate Tectonics. Guest field lectures by local geology experts, short hikes (<1 mile) and four nights of camping and/or motelling guarantee an insider's look into this region's geologic past and prospective future. A CIM benchmark course that emphasizes scientific inquiry.
